Newhaven, the south coast port near Brighton, is popular with motorists in the south heading to Upper Normandy and Paris. Dieppe, on the Alabaster Coast, is the nearest port to the capital, less than 2h 30 mins away and Rouen is reachable in just over 50 mins. Easy access to the main road network makes Dieppe a good choice for those exploring northern France and all points to the south and west.
21 return crossings a week during main season (May to end of September) with typical early morning, mid-afternoon and overnight departures.
Up to 14 weekly return crossings from (October to end of April) with typical early morning and overnight departures from Newhaven and early morning and early evening departures from Dieppe with a limited weekend service. The Cote d'Albatre and Seven Sisters make daytime crossings in 4h and around 5h 30 mins overnight.
Cabin accommodation can be booked subject to availability and dogs are carried in the owner's vehicle
